Athlete Nutrition

So you say you are an athlete?  You work out 2-3  times a day, or REALLY hard on some days.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR NUTRITION?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR ENERGY?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR RECOVERY?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR PERFORMANCE?

As a personal trainer, dancer, and wellness coach I have found the most amazing system that gives your body EVERYTHING.

Perfect food nutrition.  Meaning NO bad fillers, animal products, gluten, soy or casein.

COMBINED with cellular cleansing that RIDS the body of toxins and impurities.  The combination is amazing.  I have seen athletes who “thought” they were doing everything perfect.  Meaning eating perfect food every day, cooking and preparing.  Then once they add this system… WHAM!

Their results, testimonies and FIRST place awards are LIVING PROOF.

Here is my friend STEVE , who has been a CYCLIST for 15 years.

How many calories do I burn doing cardio? Target Heart Rate / My Fit Hero/ Personal Training/ Isagenix / Pilates / Charlotte

Posted by / in Blog / No comments yet

Many of us hit the treadmill with a steadfast speed, giving it all we got, or some working at a snails pace.

Believe it or not quite easily you can figure out your target heart rate.  Knowing this number will allow you to do your cardio staying in the “right zones”.  This will allow you to maximize your fat burning zone, and make your cardio time be more efficient.  If you want to step it up a notch adding a heart rate monitor will then allow you to see how many calories you are actually burning.  You can then take that information and combine it with the calculators on livestrong.com.

By doing this you will know your “cardio output” + the “caloric input”= how many calories you need for results!.

To make life easy you can go to : http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/target-heart-rate/SM00083

This site will automatically do the magic for you!

Exercising To Lose Weight

For weight loss, you need to burn more calories than you take in. There are 3,500 calories in 1 lb. of fat. The number of calories you burn depends on the activity, your weight and the intensity of exercise. If you weigh 160 lbs., swimming, high-impact aerobics, stationary rowing and cross-country skiing will burn around 511 calories an hour. Jogging at 5 mph will burn 584 calories an hour, while walking at 3.5 mph will burn 277 calories an hour. If you’re heavier, you’ll burn more calories. Choose an activity you enjoy, and aim for at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week.

MY FIT HERO’S SUGGESTION?
